<p>The AGC-NYJC Novice Law Moot Competition is an inter-JC novice moot hosted by Nanyang Junior College in partnership with the Attorney-General's Chambers. Participants simulate a criminal case heard in the State Courts, arguing both Prosecution and Defence positions.</p><ul><li>Open to JC students with no prior mooting experience</li><li>Inaugural 2025 edition drew 18 teams from 10 participating institutions</li><li>Preliminary rounds judged by Deputy Public Prosecutors from the Attorney-General's Chambers</li><li>Top Prosecution and Defence teams advance to a Final Round</li><li>Preceded by training sessions led by an experienced DPP from AGC</li></ul><p>Teams are nominated by their JC's law society; interested students should approach their school's law society for registration details.</p>
