About this opportunity

<p>The Community Justice Centre is an independent charity based at the State Courts that helps litigants-in-person navigate the legal system in Singapore. Volunteers support CJC's mission of widening access to justice, and no legal training is required — a willingness to help is the main qualification.</p><ul><li>Open to all, including students; no legal background needed</li><li>Student volunteers may be rostered to register applicants for legal clinics and support the On-Site Legal Assistance Scheme (OSLAS)</li><li>Offers a first-hand view of how lawyers advise clients, by sitting in and taking notes at clinics</li><li>Rolling sign-ups through the CJC volunteer portal; time commitment varies by role</li></ul>
