About this opportunity
Crime Prevention Ambassadors share crime prevention messages with their peers and the wider community, such as giving tips to senior citizens at community events or helping with talks and exhibitions for children in schools. Volunteers attend a one-day training on current crime trends, typically give about four hours a month, usually on weekends, and receive transport and meal vouchers when deployed.
Who can apply
Anyone willing to serve the community who is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, physically fit (for example, able to walk up three storeys of an HDB block) and has some free time for crime prevention talks, exhibitions or roadshows.
