About this opportunity
Teams of four to five play criminal profilers solving a fictitious case, working through daily clues such as witness statements, forensic evidence and message transcripts on an online portal before a timed finale. The 2026 edition ran over a week in July with more than 900 youths, and its storyline covered technology-facilitated crime such as scams, money mules and drug offences.
Who can apply
Teams from junior colleges, polytechnics and universities. In 2026 a new Open Category also welcomed youths aged 17 to 25 from institutions such as ITE and international schools.
How to apply
Enter as a team of four to five; MHA's release on the 2026 competition does not say how teams register. CBAC started in 2016, and the 2026 edition ran from 11 to 18 July with an online briefing, daily clues on an online portal and an in-person finale; the next edition has not been announced.
