About this opportunity

<p>The DBS Foundation x NEA Hungry for Change Challenge is a nationwide innovation challenge inviting youth in Singapore to develop and pilot practical solutions to food and packaging waste. Run jointly by DBS Foundation and the National Environment Agency (NEA), the challenge selects a small cohort of winning teams each cycle to bring their ideas into real-world pilots with industry partners.</p><ul><li>Open to students and recent alumni from Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in Singapore, including polytechnics, ITE, and universities</li><li>Teams tackle problem statements around food waste reduction, waste segregation, farm-to-table prevention, packaging innovation, and packaging minimisation</li><li>Winning teams receive up to S$20,000 in funding each, with an additional top award of up to S$25,000 for the most promising solution</li><li>Winners pilot their ideas over a six-month phase with mentorship from DBS, project consultations with NEA, and collaboration opportunities via Enterprise Singapore</li><li>Industry partners such as Koufu, McDonald's, and The Social Kitchen host pilot deployments</li></ul><p>Submission details and announcements are published on the DBS Foundation challenge page.</p>
