About this opportunity
A five-day Model UN conference at two Times Square hotels in New York City. High school delegates debate in simulated UN committees such as the Human Rights Council, the Commission on the Status of Women and the General Assembly committees, and take part in training sessions, opening and closing ceremonies and a social. Delegates receive a WFUNA Certificate of Participation.
Who can apply
Youth aged 14 to 30 from any region who have Model UN experience or a strong interest in global affairs and the UN, enrolled in a high school or university, or a recent graduate under 30. High school delegates must be accompanied by a chaperone, whether they register as a group or as an individual.
How to apply
Register as an individual or as a group through the registration page on the Global Model UN New York website; places are first come, first served. Priority registration closes on 31 October 2026 and regular registration on 5 December 2026 (the terms page also gives 6 December in places).
