<p>The Climate Youth Development Programme (CYDP) brings together 30 to 40 young people each cycle who are passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change. Participants build practical knowledge, soft skills, and networks to drive ground-up climate action in their communities. The programme is co-organised by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), the National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS), and the National Youth Council (NYC), with Halogen as the implementation partner.</p><ul><li>Open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents aged 18 to 35</li><li>5-day in-person Induction Week, followed by up to 5 post-Induction engagements over the cycle</li><li>Total cycle runs for around 7 months</li><li>Includes learning journeys, dialogues with policymakers, and peer collaboration</li><li>Selected participants must initiate or contribute to a community sustainability project</li><li>Graduates join the Climate Youth Community (CYC) and can tap on the Young ChangeMakers Grant and SG Eco Fund</li></ul><p>Apply via the CYDP application portal listed on the National Youth Council page each cycle.</p>
