About this opportunity

<p>The IDE Series (Innovation, Design and Engineering) is a national coding, engineering, and robotics competition event that has run in Singapore since 2011. It brings together 11 competition categories covering maker, coding, and robotics disciplines across primary, secondary, and tertiary divisions.</p><ul><li>Categories include IDE Maker (Arduino / BBC micro:bit prototyping), IDE Sprint (LEGO-based robot racing), IDE Sumobot, IDE Code Builder / Code Hacker, and multiple IDE Robotics tracks including VEX GO, VEX IQ, and VEX V5.</li><li>Open to students aged 9–19 across Singapore schools, international schools, and public teams.</li><li>Team fees are S$80 early bird or S$100 regular; individual coding events are S$35–S$45 per participant.</li><li>The IDE 2026 edition runs preliminaries in late May and early June, with finals held on 2–3 July 2026.</li><li>Finals are held at UWC South East Asia (East Campus).</li></ul><p>Teams register through the IDE Series registration portal by the published deadlines each season.</p>
