<p>Code for Fun (Secondary) is an IMDA and Ministry of Education programme delivered inside MOE government and government-aided secondary schools. The 10-hour programme strengthens students' digital making, design thinking, and inventive thinking skills through hands-on work with microcontrollers, and complements MOE's EdTech Masterplan 2030.</p><ul><li>Delivered in-school during curriculum time; schools apply, not individual students</li><li>Two programming tracks: block-based programming or text-based programming</li><li>Training hardware is delivered by a vendor and fully funded by IMDA and MOE HQ</li><li>Schools can choose between vendor-delivered student training or running it internally</li><li>Integrates with schools' Applied Learning Programmes (e.g. sustainability, future of transport) and includes emerging-tech hardware such as AI-enabled cameras</li></ul><p>Application instructions are sent to all MOE government and government-aided secondary schools between September and October annually; students participate via their school.</p>
