<p>The International BioGENEius Challenge is a high school biotechnology research competition run by the Biotechnology Institute. Finalists from state and regional BioGENEius Challenges advance to present original research in one of three tracks — Global Healthcare, Global Sustainability, or Global Environment — at the International finals, held alongside the BIO International Convention.</p><ul><li>Open to high school students; state and regional partner competitions feed the International finals, with an At-Large virtual track for students outside state partner regions.</li><li>Three challenge tracks: Global Healthcare, Global Sustainability, Global Environment.</li><li>Submissions include a PDF poster, signed authorisation forms and a completed application form.</li><li>Winners receive cash prizes and exposure to the global biotechnology industry at BIO International Convention.</li><li>Annual cycle; 2024 International finals were held in October at the CURE Innovation Campus in New York City.</li></ul><p>Applicants must first clear a state, regional or At-Large BioGENEius Challenge qualifier to be eligible for the International round.</p>
