About this opportunity

<p>A team-based mathematical modelling challenge for Singapore secondary and JC students, jointly organised by the Academy of Singapore Teachers, National Junior College, and Raffles Girls' School. Teams of four from the same school work for five consecutive days on a real-world open problem set by the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM²C), submitting a written report for judging.</p><ul><li>Team size: exactly four students from the same school.</li><li>Challenge periods for 2026: 16–21 March (Period 1) or 24–29 March (Period 2); each school selects one.</li><li>Team-advisor registration is open 5–23 January 2026.</li><li>Reports are judged locally; the top two Singapore submissions progress to the international IM²C round.</li><li>Certificates awarded in four tiers: High Distinction, Distinction, Merit, and Commendation.</li></ul><p>Participation is free; teams register through their school's team advisor.</p>
