<p>The International Science Youth Forum (ISYF) is Hwa Chong Institution's annual five-day science enrichment forum, bringing top research students from around the world together with Nobel Laureates and eminent scientists. Organised by the Hwa Chong Students' Science Research Club with support from MOE and partners including NRF, NTU, NUS, and A*STAR, the 18th edition ran 5–9 January 2026.</p><ul><li>Masterclasses and keynote lectures from Nobel Laureates and senior researchers (past speakers include Tim Hunt, Takaaki Kajita, Hartmut Michel, and Duncan Haldane)</li><li>Poster exhibition, team project challenge, escape-room and infographic-design activities, and research-lab visits with partner universities</li> <li>Cultural programme includes the Singapore Discovery Trail and interaction with international delegates</li><li>Hosted at Hwa Chong Institution on Bukit Timah Road; recent editions draw around 130 students from 15+ countries</li><li>Singapore participation is school-nominated, typically for high-performing JC1–JC2 science students</li></ul><p>Schools nominate delegates through Hwa Chong's SSRC; enquiries go to reach_isyf@hci.edu.sg.</p>
