About this opportunity
An undergraduate scholarship for students who want to lead in one of the five uniformed Home Team departments: the Singapore Police Force, SCDF, ICA, Singapore Prison Service or Central Narcotics Bureau. It pays tuition and approved fees, a monthly allowance and a full salary during studies at a local or overseas university, followed by a bond of four to six years.
Who can apply
Singapore Citizens, or PRs intending to take up citizenship, with a GCE A-Level, IB, polytechnic, NUS High School or other high school diploma, good academic and CCA records and strong leadership potential. Current undergraduates not in their final year may also apply. Male applicants should perform well in National Service.
How to apply
Apply through the Public Service Commission scholarship portal via the Apply Now link on the MHA page. Applications are open until 15 March 2027. Female applicants are asked to apply earlier so there is time to prepare for Basic Military Training.
