My Community is a volunteer-run civic group that documents and shares the heritage of Queenstown, Bukit Merah and Tiong Bahru. Volunteers lead its community heritage tours, run the Museum @ My Queenstown, restore and archive its 1,000-plus artefacts, and do cultural mapping through oral history interviews. Tour guides first complete training sessions on tour logistics, public speaking, script writing and a guiding practicum.
