<p>The National Sustainability Economics Championship (NSEC) is a student competition in Singapore where youth teams apply economic tools to real sustainability challenges. Participants craft economically grounded, sustainability-oriented proposals, pitching to judges from academia and industry.</p><ul><li>Open to students aged 15 to 18 in Singapore (secondary, IP, and JC level)</li><li>Hybrid format &mdash; in-person at SMU Connexion plus virtual participation with live engagement</li><li>Team-based pitch competition evaluated by judges from academia and industry</li><li>Recent theme (2025): circular economy and sustainability frameworks</li><li>Run in collaboration with SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Pan Asian Youth Movement (PAYM)</li></ul><p>Registration details for upcoming editions are announced on the ecomeet SG listing page; watch for NSEC 2026 or related student economics and sustainability competitions.</p>
