About this opportunity

<p>The National Library Board runs the S.U.R.E. (Source, Understand, Research, Evaluate) programme to teach media and information literacy to Singapore students. School groups can book guided tours of The News Gallery paired with workshops that apply the S.U.R.E. framework to identify misinformation, evaluate news credibility, and practise verification skills.</p><ul><li>Online Learning Journey: The News Gallery Virtual Tour and Workshop for schools</li><li>In-person workshops include Historical Investigation (aligned with lower secondary History syllabus) and Academic Research Skills (search strategies and source evaluation)</li><li>Companion resources such as "A Journey Through Time with the National Library" and "Be a S.U.R.E. Historical Investigator" support home-based learning</li><li>Designed to support the MOE National Digital Literacy Programme and blended learning</li><li>Free for school groups</li></ul><p>Teachers can reach out to sure@nlb.gov.sg to enquire about or arrange sessions.</p>
