<p>The Singapore Economics League (SEL) is a team-based online economics problem-solving competition run by a volunteer team of Singapore students for other students. Problems are guided by the syllabus of the International Economics Olympiad (IEO), spanning A-level material up to introductory university topics in both quantitative and qualitative economics.</p><ul><li>Open to students from JC/MI, local polytechnic, ITE, or secondary schools in Singapore</li><li>Teams can be formed across schools, not just within one school</li><li>One-sitting online contest (the 2025 edition ran four hours in a single morning)</li><li>Sample problems in easy, medium, and hard categories are published on the competition site</li><li>Participation is free; registration is done online</li></ul><p>Announcements about new editions and team matching are posted on the SEL Discord server linked from the competition site.</p>
