About this opportunity

<p>The Singapore Futures Youth Competition is an annual public-policy competition organised by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at NUS for Singapore-based pre-tertiary students. Participants explore a given policy theme through a futures-thinking workshop and present scenarios to experts and leaders from the public and private sectors.</p><ul><li>Open to students currently enrolled at any post-secondary or pre-tertiary educational institution in Singapore; individual registration only.</li><li>2026 theme: "Future of Youth's Civic Contribution in Singapore".</li><li>Four-day in-person event from 16 to 19 June 2026, held at the Bukit Timah Campus of the National University of Singapore.</li><li>Structure: three-day futures-thinking workshop run by LKYSPP faculty, followed by a final presentation day.</li><li>Selection is based on a short essay submitted with the application.</li><li>Registration deadline 29 March 2026; successful applicants notified by email by 6 May 2026.</li><li>Prizes worth up to S$4,500, plus a certificate of participation and opportunities to join LKYSPP's network.</li></ul><p>Apply via the Qualtrics registration form linked from the LKYSPP event page.
