<p>The Singapore Physics League (SPhL) Junior Category is an online team physics competition for secondary school students in Singapore, organised by the Institute of Physics Singapore in partnership with MOE and SUTD. Teams tackle a set of collaborative physics problems under time pressure, with top teams advancing to an in-person Grand Finals at SUTD.</p><ul><li>Open to teams of 3-5 students, all studying in Singapore secondary schools (or equivalent).</li><li>Students from different schools or secondary levels may team up within the Junior category.</li><li>Main contest is a 3-hour online round; top-performing teams are invited to the Junior Grand Finals held in July at SUTD.</li><li>Awards include Honourable Mention, Bronze, Silver and Gold medals, determined at the Grand Finals.</li><li>Registration is free; 2026 cycle runs with registration closing 10 May, online contest on 27 June, Junior Grand Finals on 18 July.</li></ul><p>Register at the Singapore Physics League website; one team representative submits the entry for the whole team.</p>
