About this opportunity
<p>TOUCH Young Arrows is a mentoring programme by TOUCH Community Services that serves children aged 5–14 from low-income or single-parent families through free academic coaching in English and Mathematics alongside values-driven activities. Volunteer mentors are matched to a TYA club near them and commit for at least 12 months.</p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum age 16; mentors should be comfortable with the Singapore education curriculum</li>
<li>Commitment of 3 hours every Saturday morning or afternoon for at least one year</li>
<li>Intake process: call interview, short health and well-being questionnaire, and a 2-hour 15-minute on-site orientation</li>
<li>Clubs currently recruiting at Hougang, Marine Parade, Boon Lay, Teban Gardens, Bedok, MacPherson, Punggol and Telok Blangah</li>
<li>Role covers coaching English and Mathematics, planning values-driven activities, and watching over children's safety at the centre or on outings</li>
</ul>
<p>Individuals register through the TOUCH volunteer sign-up; corporate or group enquiries can email volunteers@touch.org.sg.</p>
