About this opportunity

<p>Write For Youth is an international essay-writing competition organised by pre-tertiary students from Singaporean institutions, including St. Joseph's Institution and Raffles Institution. Prompts are set by industry professionals and academics across topics ranging from History & Politics to Business & Economics, and entries are judged through a blind dual-judging process to ensure impartiality.</p><ul><li>Open to participants internationally; submissions are made online.</li><li>Registration is free — no entry fee.</li><li>Blind judging: each essay is reviewed by two judges without author names.</li><li>Participants may submit multiple essays across different topics (one entry per topic).</li><li>Winning essays are recognised through certificates and may be published by the competition.</li></ul><p>Register on the Write For Youth website when the next cycle opens; the 2024 edition's theme was <em>Shaping Tomorrow</em> with a 31 July submission deadline.</p>
