About this opportunity

<p>The 24-Hour Playwriting Competition is a T:>Works initiative that has run since 1996, challenging playwrights to write a full play on-site within a single 24-hour window. The 2025 edition was co-produced with National Gallery Singapore in celebration of T:>Works' 40th and the Gallery's 10th anniversaries.</p><ul><li>2025 dates: 15–16 November 2025, 11am to 11am, at National Gallery Singapore</li><li>Two categories: Youth (ages 15–18) and Open (ages 19+)</li><li>Registration fee: S$60 per slot (includes meals and booking fee)</li><li>Prizes per category: S$350 (1st), S$250 (2nd), S$150 (3rd)</li><li>Winning scripts are developed further through dramatised readings at T:>Works' 72-13</li></ul><p>Writers register online and attend the Gallery on the scheduled date to write in response to stimuli and commissioned art installations. Winners get the opportunity to develop and stage their work with professional collaborators.</p>
