About this opportunity

Multi-year cyber and digital talent track run by the SAF's Digital and Intelligence Service. Post-secondary cohorts take 3-day holiday workshops plus Saturday classes covering Python programming, network and cloud security, front-end web development with React and penetration testing, then get visits, internships and mentorships with MINDEF/SAF agencies and compete in organised competitions. From 2026 selected students also do applied AI modules built with AI Singapore and AI-for-Cyber internships.

Who can apply

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents in an intake cohort: Secondary 1, Secondary 2 (applying for the Secondary 3 intake), JC Year 1 or IP Year 5, or polytechnic or ITE Year 1. Applicants should have an interest in IT, maths or science and an aptitude for logical reasoning and problem solving.

How to apply

Apply through the DIS online application form (go.gov.sg/disexternalapplicationform) during your intake's application period, then sit a selection test. Students entering JC Year 1 or IP Year 5, or polytechnic or ITE Year 1, in 2027 can apply from 19 October 2026 until 28 February 2027 (JC and IP) or 16 May 2027 (polytechnic and ITE). The Secondary 3 intake, for students in Secondary 2 in 2026, is open until 18 October 2026.
