<p>The Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) programme, delivered in Singapore by the Halogen Foundation, is a year-long school-based programme that builds an entrepreneurial mindset and core business skills in secondary school students, with a focus on youth from underserved backgrounds.</p><ul><li>Structure: around 50 hours of learning sessions, entrepreneur journey talks, business exposure visits and a school-level pitch</li><li>Pedagogy: facilitators and corporate volunteers mentor students in market research, financials and presentation skills using the NFTE curriculum</li><li>Culmination: NFTE Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (NYEC) — a nation-wide pitch where the top three students from each NFTE school present their business ideas to industry judges</li><li>Post-programme: Secondary 4 NFTE graduates can continue into the four-month Graduate Mentorship Programme (GMP), with a Tolaram-supported scholarship for shortlisted mentees</li><li>Cost: funded — free for participating students</li></ul><p>Students join through participating partner secondary schools in Singapore.</p>
