About this opportunity

<p>The NFTE Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (NYEC) is the culminating pitch competition of Halogen Foundation Singapore's Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) programme. Through the school-based NFTE curriculum, students build business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, and the top three students from each participating NFTE school go on to pitch their business ideas at NYEC in front of industry judges.</p> <ul> <li>Organiser: Halogen Foundation Singapore, delivering NFTE in partnership with secondary schools.</li> <li>Focus: supporting youth from underserved backgrounds through entrepreneurial-mindset education.</li> <li>Curriculum: school-based sessions covering opportunity recognition, market research, financials, pitching, entrepreneurial journeys and business exposure.</li> <li>NYEC: a multi-day pitch competition where the top three students per NFTE school compete for national recognition.</li> <li>Post-NFTE: graduates can join the NFTE Graduate Mentorship Programme and may be considered for the Tolaram Scholarship.</li> <li>Fully funded by Halogen, with no cost to participating students.</li> </ul> <p>Participation is through a partnered NFTE school — speak to your school's programme coordinator or contact Halogen Foundation for partnership details.</p>
