<p>My First $1000 is an eight-week entrepreneurship programme for Singapore youths, initiated by East Ventures and delivered with catalytic partners Temasek Foundation and Golden Agri-Resources. Selected teams receive seed capital, run a real business in market conditions, and can earn a dollar-for-dollar revenue match of up to $1,000.</p><ul><li>Open to Singapore youths aged 14–18, enrolled in Secondary 3/4, JC, polytechnic, or ITE; teams of ideally three members</li><li>Each team receives $250 in seed capital from East Ventures; repaid at programme end along with a $50 cost-of-capital contribution</li><li>For every $1 of revenue a team generates, the programme provides a matching $1, capped at $1,000</li><li>Structured schedule: onboarding and in-person workshops in mid-March, 8-week execution phase, and a public Showcase Day on 30 May 2026 featuring a carnival, gallery walk, and flea market</li><li>Mentorship from East Ventures and partner founders; pop-up retail space provided at JTC Punggol Coast Mall and Haji Lane</li></ul><p>Applications for the 2026 cohort closed on 7 March 2026; future cohort details are announced on my1st1000.sg.</p>
