About this opportunity
A team competition on clean energy for pre-university students. Round 1 at NUS pairs a lecture by an NUS chemical engineering lecturer with a team quiz; the top teams then develop a solution and present it live to expert judges. The 2026 edition asked teams for AI-powered prototypes for hydrogen energy and decarbonisation, with a SGD 3,000 top prize plus school and audience awards.
Who can apply
Pre-university students (2026 edition: born 2006 to 2010) in teams of 2 to 4 from the same school. Open to JC, polytechnic and other pre-university students.
How to apply
Register a team of two to four students from the same school on NUS uvents; a registration fee of SGD 30 per team applies. The 2026 edition closed registration on 31 May, with Round 1 on 6 June and the final on 28 June; it builds on previous editions, and 2027 dates are not yet announced.
