<p>The Euclid Contest is a 2.5-hour senior mathematics contest from the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo, written annually by over 25,000 students worldwide. Results are considered in University of Waterloo scholarship and admissions decisions.</p> <ul> <li>Target audience: students in their final year of secondary school (JC2 equivalent); motivated younger students may also sit it.</li> <li>Format: 10 questions — a mix of short-answer and full-solution — scored out of 100.</li> <li>Written annually in April; Singapore students sit the paper at authorised CEMC test centres via their school or a centre supervisor.</li> <li>Awards: Certificate of Distinction for the top 25%; school champion medallions; Canadian top-5 receive cash prizes.</li> <li>CEMC fee is CAD $18 per participant plus processing and international shipping; local test-centre admin fees apply on top.</li> </ul> <p>Registration is handled by the contest supervisor at the participant's school or authorised test centre through the CEMC portal.</p>
