<p>The National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) is a holistic, non-competitive youth development programme run by the NYAA Council in Singapore. Silver and Gold are the two upper levels of the Award, recognising sustained self-development across four components: Service Learning, Outdoor Appreciation, Healthy Living, and Community Leadership Initiative.</p><ul><li>Silver: open to those aged 15 to under 30, with a minimum period of involvement of 12 months.</li><li>Gold: open to those aged 16 to under 30, with a minimum period of involvement of 18 months.</li><li>Non-competitive: the challenge is personal, not against other participants.</li><li>Participants choose their own activities within each of the four components.</li><li>Completion is recognised with an official NYAA Silver or Gold Award.</li></ul><p>Enrolment is typically facilitated through a participant's school, institution, or a NYAA operating organisation.
