<p>Science Centre Singapore runs a Volunteering and Student Work Attachment Programme that supports public exhibitions, educational activities, and visitor engagement on-site at Jurong East. The programme is open to volunteers with or without a science background and offers several entry routes for individuals and groups.</p><ul><li><strong>Regular Individual Volunteer</strong>: minimum age 14, requires a one-year commitment, recruited quarterly via a selection process.</li><li><strong>Group Volunteer (Seasonal)</strong>: groups of 3–5 (e.g. VIA student groups, corporate teams), one-time shift of 3–8 hours.</li><li><strong>Student Work Attachment Programme (SWAP)</strong>: minimum age 15, at least 2 consecutive weeks (10 workdays); intakes in January, June–July, and October–December; teacher involvement required.</li><li>Volunteer hours can be counted towards VIA, and an official certification document is available on request.</li><li>No science background required.</li></ul><p>To apply, register through the Volunteer page or email <a href="mailto:volunteers@science.edu.sg">volunteers@science.edu.sg</a>.</p>
