About this opportunity

<p>The Singapore Deaf Youth Section (SDYS) is a volunteer group under the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) that grooms Deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing youth into future community leaders. Members aged 18 to 35 organise activities, outings, workshops and camps for the Deaf community.</p><ul><li>Open to youth aged 18 to 35, including Deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing volunteers</li><li>Only Deaf and hard-of-hearing members can hold SDYS management positions</li><li>Activities include networking events, social outings, workshops and camps</li><li>Part of SADeaf, a National Council of Social Service member founded in 1955</li><li>Rolling intake throughout the year; no fixed deadline</li></ul><p>Prospective volunteers register through SADeaf via the Join Us section of the SADeaf website.</p>
