<p>The Singapore Introductory Mooting Programme (SIMP) is an introductory mooting competition for students with no prior mooting experience. It combines advocacy workshops and virtual or in-person training sessions with an immersive mooting competition judged by experienced panels.</p><ul><li>Open to Upper Secondary, Pre-University, and Year 1 University students with no prior mooting experience</li><li>Teams of two, representing either their schools or themselves</li><li>Pre-competition training sessions and a closed-list problem question with two grounds of appeal</li><li>Each team submits four skeletal submissions (Appellant and Respondent for both grounds)</li><li>Awards include Champion, First Runners Up, Best School Team, and Best Individual Mooter</li><li>Finals are open to spectators</li></ul><p>Registration is through the SIMP Linktree at linktr.ee/SIMootProgram; participants who do not have a partner are paired with another independent participant.</p>
