<p>Singapore Model Parliament (SMP) is a flagship youth programme run by REACH, the national feedback and engagement unit. It gives post-secondary students and NSFs firsthand insight into Singapore's policymaking process through workshops, dialogues with Political Office Holders, learning journeys, and a simulated parliamentary debate.</p><ul><li>Open to full-time post-secondary students in JC, ITE, Polytechnic, and University, plus specialised colleges (Lasalle, NAFA, SOTA), NSFs, and those waiting to enter university.</li><li>Participation is free.</li><li>Typical commitment: three full days of programme activities plus preparatory work in the week leading up to the simulated debate.</li><li>Inaugurated in 2012; the tenth edition ran in October 2024 under the theme "#YouthMatters".</li></ul><p>Enquiries can be directed to outreach@reach.gov.sg.</p>
