<p>The Singapore Youth Film Festival (SYFF) is an annual national short-film festival presented by *SCAPE. It celebrates young filmmakers through screenings, an awards ceremony, filmmaker Q&amp;As and industry talks. SYFF evolved from the National Youth Film Awards, which has run since 2015.</p> <ul> <li>Open submission across two main divisions: Student Category and Open Youth Category.</li> <li>Annual call for entries draws hundreds of submissions — the 2026 edition shortlisted 43 nominated films from 262 entries.</li> <li>Screenings and the awards ceremony have been held at Oldham Theatre and the SOTA Studio Theatre.</li> <li>Programme includes Audience Choice, Joint Awards and dedicated Student Category awards.</li> <li>Paired with the Film Facilitation Collective (FFC), an integrated collective and mentorship initiative for young filmmakers.</li> </ul> <p>Submissions and event details are published annually on the official SYFF site.</p>
