<p>Play-Ability Sports Buddies support SportCares' inclusive sport programme for persons with disabilities and special needs, working alongside coaches in badminton, basketball, tennis and soundball sessions. Since 2017, SportCares has led community inclusion efforts to give persons with disabilities access to sport and confidence-building experiences.</p> <ul> <li>Sports Buddies set up and clear the field of play, interact with and play alongside participants, and help coaches with activity demonstrations</li> <li>Regular volunteers commit to recurring weekly or fortnightly sessions</li> <li>Disciplines covered include badminton, basketball, tennis and soundball; other SportCares programmes also run Flippa Ball, wheelchair rugby and futsal</li> <li>Suitable for volunteers who enjoy sport and want to befriend participants from diverse backgrounds</li> </ul> <p>To sign up, contact SportCares through the volunteering opportunities page on the Sport Singapore website.</p>
