<p>Write the World runs free monthly writing competitions for teen writers aged 13–19, rotating through genres such as poetry, fantasy, flash fiction, memoir, journalism, and environmental writing. Each competition is judged by an invited guest judge — typically an award-winning writer, editor, poet, or journalist — and the platform also supports peer and expert feedback during the drafting stage.</p><ul><li>Open to writers aged 13–19 worldwide; no entry fee.</li><li>A new competition opens each month, with a different genre and prompt.</li><li>Winner receives USD 100; runner-up USD 50; best peer reviewer USD 50.</li><li>Winning pieces are published on Write the World's blog alongside guest judge commentary.</li><li>Writers can receive peer and expert feedback before submitting their final piece.</li></ul><p>Participants sign up on the Write the World platform to submit entries.</p>
