About this opportunity
<p>The Youth Corps Expedition Project (YEP) is Youth Corps Singapore's overseas service-learning programme. Youth teams scope, plan, and deliver community projects with overseas host partners, often including infrastructure or sustainability elements such as building aquaponic systems, solar cookers, or fruit drying machines. Teams also complete a Learning Journey focused on Singapore–host-country relations.</p><ul><li>Two tracks: <strong>YEP</strong> (physical overseas deployment, typically 1–2 weeks) and <strong>YEP-GO</strong> (online service with overseas partners).</li><li>Eligibility: ages 15–35, Singaporean or PR youth; teams are youth-led.</li><li>Project funding is available — Youth Corps subsidises a significant share of approved project costs.</li><li>A Leaders Training Course (LTC) supports project leads; forms and resources are published on the YEP page.</li><li>Outcomes include certificates, networking with overseas partners, and hands-on project-leadership experience.</li></ul><p>To apply, lead or join a YEP project via the Overseas Volunteering Programme page, or email <a href="mailto:YEP_Enquiries@nyc.gov.sg">YEP_Enquiries@nyc.gov.sg</a> for project scoping help.</p>
