About this opportunity

<p>The A*STAR Research Attachment Programme (ARAP) enables international PhD students enrolled at overseas partner universities to spend 1 to 2 years attached to an A*STAR research institute in Singapore. The programme fosters researcher-to-researcher collaborations, with awardees working under joint supervision from their home institution and an A*STAR supervisor.</p><ul><li>For international PhD students at partner universities (e.g. University of Manchester, UCL, University of Surrey, University of Warwick)</li><li>Requires a Bachelor's degree with at least Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent, strong references, and a solid research track record</li><li>Research areas span biomedical sciences, physical sciences, engineering, and infocomm</li><li>Coverage includes monthly stipend, housing allowance, medical insurance, airfare grant, settling-in allowance, IT allowance, and conference allowance</li><li>Nomination deadlines: 1 June and 1 December each year</li></ul><p>Students from partner universities should contact their university's ARAP liaison office to initiate nomination.</p>
