<p>The International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) is a SIMCC-organised international mathematics competition held annually in a different host city for top-performing students from over 50 countries. It uses grade-differentiated individual papers to identify and encourage young math talents.</p><ul><li>Eligible grades: Primary 1 to JC 2 (Grades 1–12), with separate papers for G1–6, G7–10, and G11/12.</li><li>Qualification: Silver or above in AMO, SASMO, SMGF, or SIMOC grants direct entry; Bronze awardees may join via the IJMO training programme; HM in SIMOC also eligible with training.</li><li>Format: onsite, 90-minute written competition with 30 questions per paper and a 20-bonus-point starting score.</li><li>Capacity: limited to 1,500 slots globally on a first-come, first-served basis.</li><li>Awards: certificates, medals, and trophies; Overall Championship awards go to the top 3 gold winners per grade level.</li></ul><p>Registration is handled via SIMCC's STEAM AHEAD portal.
