<p>KidsLearn is a Youth Corps Singapore literacy and befriending programme that provides reading and phonics enrichment for preschool children aged 5 to 6. Volunteers work one-on-one as Befrienders to support each child's literacy skills and give encouragement and companionship through term-based sessions.</p> <ul> <li>Open to volunteers aged 15 to 35, depending on location.</li> <li>Term-based format: an orientation session plus a minimum number of weekly sessions (typically 8) across one school term.</li> <li>Runs in multiple locations across Singapore (including Ang Mo Kio, Jurong East, Woodlands and Queenstown in past cycles).</li> <li>Roles include Volunteer Befriender and Volunteer Coordinator.</li> </ul> <p>Browse the current KidsLearn cycles on Youth Corps Singapore's Discover Civic Action portal to register, or contact youthcorps_programmes@nyc.gov.sg.</p>
