About this opportunity
<p>Ren Ci Hospital welcomes student volunteers to plan and run activities for patients and residents at its community hospital and nursing homes through school-based Values in Action (VIA) programmes. Student groups can design sessions such as magic shows, song and dance performances, games or simply befriending the elderly.</p>
<ul>
<li>Open to students of all levels; school groups are invited to propose their own programme ideas</li>
<li>Activity types include performances, art and craft, outings, exercises, sing-along sessions, and befriending</li>
<li>Ren Ci operates community hospital and nursing home services at Toa Payoh (Moulmein Road) and Bukit Batok</li>
<li>All volunteers go through an initial assessment, screening and orientation; on-the-job and in-service training are provided</li>
<li>Corporate and individual volunteers are also welcome alongside school groups</li>
</ul>
<p>To arrange a VIA session, schools register through the Ren Ci organisation volunteer form or email volunteer@renci.org.sg.</p>
