<p>SASMO is one of Asia's largest math olympiads, organised by the Singapore International Math Contests Centre (SIMCC) since 2006 and drawing students from more than 40 countries. Participants sit a 25-question, 90-minute paper spanning school-level and olympiad-style problems.</p><ul><li>Open to Primary 1 through JC 2; Singapore secondary and JC students compete in Sec 1–4 and JC 1–2.</li><li>Mode of competition is online or paper; held annually between March and May.</li><li>Top 40% of participants receive an award certificate and a medal.</li><li>Gold, Silver, or Bronze awardees are invited to SIMOC; Silver and above qualify for IJMO without training.</li><li>Register via school or as a private candidate at form.simcc.org.</li></ul><p>Singapore school fees are typically S$30 per entry (Edusave-eligible for citizens); private candidates pay around S$60.</p>
