<p>The Singapore Biology League (SBL) is a student-organised annual online biology contest supported by the Singapore Institute of Biology. It is open to all pre-university students in Singapore and runs on a proprietary online platform, with teams of 3–5 members competing across several event formats.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: pre-university students (JC, Millennia Institute, Polytechnic, ITE, or international equivalent) in Singapore</li><li>Team size: 3–5 members; teams may cross schools and grades</li><li>Date: Saturday, 4 July 2026, 09:00–13:00 SGT</li><li>Format: Main Problems (graduated difficulty), Reflex Ark (new synchronous quiz showdown replacing Practical Problems), and Adrenaline Rush (50-minute MCQ bonus)</li><li>Syllabus: all fields of modern biology; Campbell Biology and IBO syllabus recommended as references</li><li>Rules: open-book, open-internet within the team; no communication with people outside the team</li></ul><p>Registration is via the form on the SBL website. Teams choose their own name (max 30 characters) and are responsible for keeping contact details accurate for contest correspondence.</p>
