About this opportunity

<p>The Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts programme supports Children and Young Persons (CYPs) living in public rental housing through free tuition, enrichment activities and excursions. Volunteer tutors work with primary school students at the main Young Hearts centre in Yishun, providing weekly academic support and positive mentorship.</p><ul><li>Open to youth volunteers; sign up via volunteer.redcross.sg</li><li>Volunteer roles include tutoring and mentoring primary school students</li><li>Programme also includes enrichment partners (BYTE.sg, SportsCares, NUS, kidsREAD, KidsExcel) and regular excursions</li><li>Regular weekly commitment is encouraged so children build trust with their tutor</li></ul><p>Prospective tutors register through the Singapore Red Cross volunteer portal; the Yishun centre runs sessions throughout the week.</p>
